Lakehead University’s residences are designed to support students in building a vibrant and successful university experience. With options ranging from residence halls to apartments and townhouses, each style is created to meet the diverse needs of students while ensuring a safe and supportive living environment. Residence Life offers programs, social events, and academic support to help students adjust and thrive on campus. Guided tours of the residences may be arranged through the Residence Services office. Please note that unscheduled visits cannot be accommodated. Application deadlines are typically June 1 for Fall intake and December 10 for Winter intake. Space is limited, and applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lakehead University also provides information on off-campus housing through its Off-Campus Housing Service. Please note that the University does not own, operate, inspect, or supervise any off-campus properties listed and cannot guarantee their condition or accuracy. All off-campus housing is independently owned and operated. Students are fully responsible for verifying property details, rental agreements, safety standards, and related information before making housing decisions.
