About Xiamen University Malaysia
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) is the first overseas branch campus set up by a world-renowned Chinese university and the first Chinese university branch campus in Malaysia. Conceived as a historic tribute to its founder, Mr. Tan Kah Kee (who made his fortune in Malaya before founding Xiamen University in China in 1921), XMUM operates a state-of-the-art 150-acre permanent campus in Bandar Sunsuria, Sepang, Selangor. Degrees are conferred directly by Xiamen University (China), which is ranked among the top global research universities under China's prestigious "Double First-Class" and "Project 985" initiatives. All academic programs hold dual accreditation from both the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and China's Ministry of Education, with instruction delivered in English across virtually all degree pathways.
