The University of Bedfordshire is a progressive and dynamic public research university located across Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. Formed in 2006 from the merger of the University of Luton—whose educational origins date back to the Luton Modern School and Technical Institute founded in 1908—and the historic Bedford Training College established in 1882, the university educates over 20,000 students from more than 120 countries. Operating across four major campuses in Luton, Bedford, Milton Keynes, and Aylesbury, the university has invested over £180 million in cutting-edge facilities, including the £40M STEM building, a seven-storey 24/7 library, a £34M Campus Centre, high-tech Cisco networking labs, mock hospital wards, and Olympic-accredited sports science testing laboratories.
