About Universiti Kuala Lumpur
Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is a multi-campus technical university wholly owned by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), an agency under Malaysia's Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. Established on 20 August 2002, UniKL is the national pioneer institution for Higher Technical and Vocational Education and Training (HTVET) in Malaysia. Rather than concentrating on one central mega-campus, UniKL operates 12 branch institutes strategically distributed across peninsular Malaysia, each purpose-built and equipped with specialized industrial machinery, flight hangars, shipyards, medical simulation wards, robotics laboratories, and digital innovation studios. UniKL educates over 29,000 students and boasts an outstanding 97.1% graduate employability rate through its hands-on 'practice-oriented' curriculum aligned with global industry accreditations.
