Molde University College (Høgskolen i Molde – Specialized University in Logistics, HiMolde) is a distinguished public higher education institution situated on the northwest coast of Norway. Officially recognized by royal decree as Norway’s specialized university in logistics, HiMolde enjoys an international reputation for cutting-edge education and research in logistics, supply chain management (SCM), transport economics, petroleum logistics, sustainable energy logistics, economics and business administration (Siviløkonom), sport management, and healthcare sciences. Formed in 1994 through the integration of Møre og Romsdal distriktshøgskole (founded in 1969 as a pioneer of Norwegian regional higher education) and Sykepleierhøgskolen i Molde (founded in 1958), the institution educates approximately 3,300 students and awards bachelor’s, master’s, and doctor of philosophy (PhD) degrees. With its main campus at Britvegen 2 in Molde and an active branch campus at Kunnskapsparken in Kristiansund, HiMolde offers an intimate, highly focused academic environment where students work closely alongside world-class faculty. International Master of Science degree programmes are taught entirely in English, attracting students from over 50 nations. The university college works in close partnership with regional and global maritime, energy, aviation, and logistics corporations, and hosts the renowned Møreforsking research institute, producing influential scholarly publications that shape global logistics networks.
