Kumamoto University operates across three centralized campuses in Kumamoto City: Kurokami Campus (divided into Kurokami North for Letters, Education, and Law, and Kurokami South for Engineering, Science, Informatics, and the Magnesium Research Center), Honjo Campus (Medical School, University Hospital, and the Joint Research Center for Human Retrovirus Infection), and Oe Campus (School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences). Accommodating over 10,000 students, including more than 600 international scholars from 50+ countries, Kumadai offers world-class English-taught graduate pathways including the International Joint Education Program for Science and Technology (IJEP) and the HIGO Leading Medical Graduate Program.
