About Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences
Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN University / Høgskolen i Innlandet / Universitetet i Innlandet) is a major comprehensive public university in southeastern Norway, officially accredited as a full university in November 2024. INN University was established on January 1, 2017 through the strategic merger of Hedmark University College (founded 1994) and Lillehammer University College (founded 1971). With approximately 16,000 students and 1,200 faculty and administrative staff, INN operates across six distinctive, specialized campuses throughout Innlandet county: Lillehammer (headquarters, business, film school, TV, psychology), Hamar (The Game School, biotechnology, teacher education), Elverum (health, nursing, physiotherapy, sports), Rena (business administration, crisis management, music business), Evenstad (world-renowned applied ecology, wildlife management, forestry), and Blæstad (Norway premier agronomy and precision agriculture center). INN University is committed to high-impact research, sustainable regional and global development, international academic partnerships, and innovative, practice-oriented higher education across undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programs.
