About Dublin Business School
Dublin Business School (DBS), established in 1975 as the Accountancy and Business College, has grown to become Ireland’s largest independent higher education institution, providing education to over 9,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students from more than 70 countries. Located in the vibrant heart of Dublin city centre across three state-of-the-art campuses (Aungier Street, Castle House on South Great George's Street, and Balfe Street), DBS provides an extensive portfolio of career-focused degree programmes recognized by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) across NFQ Levels 6 through 9. DBS degrees are delivered across four specialized academic schools: the School of Business, the School of Computing and IT, the School of Arts and Psychology, and the School of Law. The college holds premier accreditations including Platinum status from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), recognition by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), and accreditation from the Honorable Society of King's Inns for its Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). As part of Kaplan, Inc. (a leading global education provider owned by Graham Holdings Company), DBS combines academic rigor with industry-focused practical training, small class sizes, and direct access to Ireland’s Third Level Graduate Scheme (Stamp 1G) post-study work rights in Dublin’s multinational corporate hub.
