About BI Norwegian Business School
Founded in 1943 by Finn Øien as Bedriftsøkonomisk Institutt, BI Norwegian Business School (Handelshøyskolen BI) has evolved into one of Europe's most respected independent business institutions and a member of the elite less than 1% of business schools worldwide holding "Triple Crown" accreditation (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS). Serving over 20,000 students across four modern campuses—headquartered in the award-winning Niels Torp-designed Nydalen campus in Oslo, alongside vibrant regional hubs in Bergen, Trondheim, and Stavanger—BI combines academic rigor with hands-on corporate engagement. BI regularly ranks among the top business schools in Europe in the Financial Times rankings and is celebrated for its world-class faculty in economics, finance, business analytics, sustainability, and organizational leadership.
