Operating primarily from two major metropolitan campuses in Beijing—the historic Xitucheng Flagship Campus in the Haidian Zhongguancun Silicon Valley innovation zone and the modern Shahe High-Tech Campus in the Changping Higher Education Mega Park—BUPT encompasses 19 specialized schools and two National State Key Laboratories: the State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology and the State Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communications. The university offers Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Ph.D. degrees in English and Chinese, complemented by the BUPT-Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) International Joint Institute offering dual UK/China degree certifications.
