About Anyang University
Anyang University (안양대학교) is a distinguished private comprehensive university with campuses in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, and Ganghwa Island, Incheon, South Korea. Tracing its pedigree back to August 1948 with the founding of the Presbyterian Evening Seminary by Reverend Kim Chi-sun, the institution evolved into Daishin University before achieving full university status in 1993 and officially adopting the name Anyang University in 1995. Built upon the visionary humanitarian founding ethos of "Brightening One Corner" (한구석 밝히기), the university is nationally renowned for its software engineering, artificial intelligence, smart city technology, cosmetic invention and beauty medical design, K-Culture and entertainment, theology, and dedicated English-medium Global Trade and Business administration. Operating under certification from the Korean Ministry of Education's International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS), Anyang University provides a safe, welcoming, and high-tech environment located just 35 minutes south of central Seoul.
