Overview

The Bachelor of Construction at Massey University is a 3‑year (360‑credit) undergraduate degree combining technical, managerial and business skills for the building and construction industry. Students choose one of two majors: Construction Management or Quantity Surveying, which allow specialisation in areas like project scheduling, cost estimation, legal/contracts, and sustainable construction. The programme embeds digital technologies (CAD, BIM, AR/VR) and requires practical industry experience to ensure graduates can hit the ground running. Graduates work in roles such as construction manager, project estimator/surveyor, contract administrator, site supervisor or consultant.
