In order to support the career development of our students and alumni, Istanbul Okan University Career Centre has institutional cooperation agreement with more than 700 companies, and through the centre students can apply for internship, part-time and full-time employment, and work at O’COOP - the Cooperative Learning Programme during their last semester. 

• Graduates of the Department of Economics and Finance at Istanbul Okan University can be employed in the areas like:

• Finance, accounting, planning, production departments in national and multinational companies

• Public institutions (ministries, undersecretariats, directorates, Borsa Istanbul, BRSA, CMB, etc.)

Passport, university acceptance letter from a recognized Turkish university, completed visa application form, proof of financial support, passport-sized photos, academic documents, language test results if needed—yes, the list is long, and yes, you’ll need every piece.

• Start saving up. You’ll need to show you can financially support yourself while studying in Turkey. That means proving you can cover tuition, living expenses, and maybe even a few Turkish breakfasts and metro rides.

• Enhance your English or Turkish skills depending on your program. Some universities teach in English, others in Turkish. Strong language skills will benefit both your visa process and academic success.
