University of Portsmouth You’ll engage with both theory and practice—working in modern labs, using industry‑standard software, and completing a substantial dissertation project. University of Portsmouth Graduates are prepared for senior technical or managerial roles in sectors such as software, finance, healthcare or commerce, or for further research leading toward PhD study. University of Portsmouth Entry requires a relevant undergraduate degree (2:2 or better, or equivalent experience), with full‑time study lasting around one year.
